Created in 2010, the Tá na Rua Graffiti collective gathers local artists from the Rio de Janeiro coastal Lowlands area who are committed to the revitalization of urban areas through graffiti. The collective now gathers 32 artists from several regions in the state and has left its mark in public areas in Cabo Frio, São Pedro da Aldeia, Búzios and Arraial do Cabo.

The five founders of the collective, all Cabo Frio residents, met when giving classes on urban art for social projects. Active in the Hip hop scene since 2002, they created the group to attract artists and promote urban culture. "Youth from the city outskirts learned from us. We showed them there are other paths they can choose for their lives", says Bianca Vieira, a member of the group.

In 2013, the Tá na Rua Graffiti organized its first exhibition of canvases with graffiti art in the halls of the Centro de Artes Visuais de Cabo Frio (Visual Arts center of Cabo Frio). The portfolio of Tá na Rua, includes murals, panels, paintings, outfits and accessories as well as set design, decorative items and building façade revitalization.

The works of the collective portray the reality of the city outskirts in vibrant colors and distinctive traces and shapes. Making the streets open air art galleries is the goal of this troupe which also includes Cristiano Ousado, Luciano Hilário, Leandro, Boca, Henrique and other young artists.
