Saint Joseph of Taboas Church

Cultural Heritage - Rio das Flores

A little church built by faith and also by necessity: that's how the temple in honor of St. Joseph was built in the district of Taboas, in Rio das Flores. So that the people could baptize their children and get married, farmers and residents built the church 1869.

The external facade is simple, typical architecture of the 18th century chapels from Minas Gerais. It is adorned with artistic elements and symbols of Freemasonry.
