Atop the staircase to Frade Waterfall, in Vargem Grande, the stable owned by José Francisco Siqueira Queiroz can be seen in red, blue, black and yellow. "It is cheerful, colorful, the colors gave the place new life", says Queiroz, who was born in 1925 and is the fourth generation of farm owners fazenda, received as sesmaria (officially distributed land).

One of the houses in Maximino Barbosa's land at the road between Teresópolis and Nova Friburgo, Velasco left his mark. "I loved it and so did everyone. I couldn't afford the painting soI gave him products such as cabbage, lettuce, broccoli".

Since 2001, Velasco works for publishing and textile companies. Among his clients, Coca-Cola, Rede Globo, Nike and Claro, as well as DPZ and W/Brasil agencies. His work has featured books by German Taschen and publications such as Digital Artist (England), Doski Magazine (Russia) and Belio Magazine (Spain). he also has exhibites his work in New York, Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Paris, Budapest and Madrid. He also did street art in Rio de Janeiro, where he also offered street art workshops.
