The greatest natural estate of Itatiaia, the National Park, has ten trails some of them that have been closed since the 1980's are now being opened again. The land was acquired by Federal Farm in 1908 and includes rivers, waterfalls, and natural pools. Among their several attractions, there are also Agulhas Negras Peak and Prateleiras Peak, 2,787 and 2,540 meters high, respectively.
