Since 2000 in Teresópolis, the Integrartes offers courses in music, theater, dance and visual arts. The institution also offers shows open to the public with information about musical genres, MPB composers and music instrument demonstrations.

One of the most sought after is the rock music and MPB practical course. Classes gather up to six students who learn to play different instruments at the same time - including keyboard, electric guitar, bass, drums and percussion. The institution has 18 teachers, eight classrooms and a cultural corridor for exhibitions of student's work.

The Integrartes organizes the project Fazendo Noite, which allows the musicians from the institute to show their work in events at Sesc Teresópolis. It is responsible for the musical programme of many events in the city's cultural agenda. During carnival, the institute organizes the Grão (The Organic Art Group), the Dona Terezinha street band which plays marchinhas (traditional Brazilian Carnival music genre which relies on humorous lyrics - its name, "little march", satirizes the seriousness of military marches), giant dolls and stilt artists.
